Şevki Tandoğan – Engineering Director
Şevki Tandoğan is an electrical engineer and executive with over 40 years of experience. Throughout his career, he has worked on transmission lines, city networks, industrial facilities, and renewable energy power plants, specializing in investment, operations, and O&M management.
Between 1985 and 1988, he began his career by working on projects involving the renovation of transmission lines and city grids. From 1989 to 1992, he served as Electrical Project Supervisor at Kayalar Construction. In 1992, he joined the Borusan Group and worked until 2009 as Electrical Maintenance Manager at the Borçelik Cold Rolling Facility. During this period, he was responsible for ensuring the continuity, maintenance, and modernization of the facility’s energy infrastructure.
From 2009 to 2023, Tandoğan served as Operations Manager at Borusan EnBW Energy. In this role, he managed the operation and maintenance of 12 renewable energy plants (with a total installed capacity of 725 MW, including wind, hydroelectric, and solar). This 15-year experience in the renewable sector contributed to the efficient and secure operation of sustainable energy investments.
Between 2023 and 2025, he returned to Borçelik as Energy Supply and Distribution Manager for major investments, overseeing the planning, investment, and operation processes of the energy infrastructure to meet the facilities’ growing capacity needs.
Since 2025, Tandoğan has been serving as Engineering Director at Getonport, where he adds value to the company by managing the technical aspects of energy projects, coordinating engineering processes, and strategically supervising field operations.
He graduated from Istanbul Technical University’s Electrical Engineering Department in 1985. He is married, a father of two, and has a good command of English.
